At St. Gregory’s, we prioritise the emotional wellbeing of our students. Our School Counsellor, Anna Myers, provides a safe and supportive space for children to express their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build confidence. Anna provides targeted, specialist support as part of our graduated approach to supporting all children.
Anna Myers offers a range of support services, including
Anna’s compassionate approach ensures that all children feel listened to, valued, and supported in their emotional development; that children leave her specialist sessions more equipped and ready for life within and beyond the classroom.
In almost all cases, children will have moved through a graduated approach to their social, emotional and mental health development, before being referred to Anna. If you feel your child would benefit from speaking to our school counsellor, please contact the school office to arrange a conversation with Mrs Thompson (SENCO) or Mr Perree (Headteacher).
In the first instance, we ask that you speak with your child's class teacher.
