At St. Gregory’s, we are committed to preparing our pupils for the journey ahead, equipping them with the values and character they need to flourish in all aspects of life. Our Fullness of Life curriculum has been carefully designed to nurture the whole child, ensuring they grow into confident, respectful, and compassionate individuals. At the heart of this is our behaviour curriculum, which explicitly teaches and reinforces outstanding behaviour through clear expectations, structured routines, and consistent opportunities for staff and pupils to model, practise, and refine these behaviours.

We believe that children should not only understand how to behave but also why these behaviours matter. Through regular opportunities to practise positive conduct, our pupils internalise these values, embedding them into their everyday interactions. Our behaviour curriculum is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all, from Nursery to Year Six, with adaptations to support children with SEND and other additional needs—because at St. Gregory’s, we want every child to succeed.

Our Four Core School Rules

Our school community—staff and children together—has defined three fundamental rules that underpin everything we do. These guide our expectations and shape the way we interact with one another:

Routines and Expectations

At St. Gregory’s, we believe that a structured and nurturing environment is key to helping our pupils thrive. We have established clear routines and expectations informed by educational research such as that of the Education Endowent Foundation (EEF). 

These routines foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and self-discipline, creating a positive and productive atmosphere where every child can reach their full potential. By consistently upholding these expectations, we are not just preparing our pupils for academic success—we are shaping them into well-rounded individuals ready to embrace life in all its fullness.
