    Welcome to Nursery Class

Together, in Jesus, we Love, Learn, Create and Celebrate!

    Mrs Fidler - Class Teacher

Mrs C Riley and Mrs J Mottram - Teaching Assistants

    Welcome, from Mrs Fidler:

Welcome to Nursery Class! We are pleased to share our new webpage with you. You will find lots of photographs of our learning from each term on the right-hand side of this page. I will continue to update this throughout the year, so please check back regularly. You can find lots of information about our learning in the curriculum pages at the top, including our knowledge organisers for each topic.

    PE days

Nursery have PE once weekly on a Thursday. They do not need to wear a PE kit or change their shoes.

    Reading Books

In nursery we have a home/school library. Every week your child will choose a book to bring home to share. Books will be changed once weekly on a Monday. Enjoy talking about the pictures, characters and what is happening throughout the story. Take opportunities to draw attention to the writing, encourage your child to follow as you read and enjoy sharing a love of reading together!

    Drop off time:

The nursery session begins at 9.00 with doors opening at 8.55.

    Pick up time:

Children who are accessing mornings only are to be collected at 12.00. For children attending full-time, collection is at 3.00.

    Snack:

Children are offered a choice of fruit, milk or water each day. There is no need to send in additional snacks from home. Children are encouraged to try new things and make healthy, independent choices.

    Water bottles:

Please send in a water bottle labelled with your child's name, so they can have drink independently throughout the day.

    Clothing:

Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child's name. Children have access to the outdoors daily. Please send in a pair of wellington boots for your child to keep in nursery to use when the weather is wet.
